Rustic Modern Tub To Shower Conversion
This is a second story master bathroom remodel in Austin Texas that we worked on last year. The original bathroom had a shower on the left side with a tub on the right (All made of cultured marble). The homeowners wanted to make a large walk in shower. We reduced the size of the window above the tub to a smaller transom window. We had to use scaffolding to take off the siding on the exterior, reframe for the new window, and redo all of the waterproofing / vapor barrier before installing new siding. The pictured vanity was custom made and has a Carrara Marble counter top. The style of the bathroom renovation has more of a rustic modern feel. Simple and clean.
