Alan and has over 25 years experience in the construction industry, specializing in kitchen and bathroom designing & remodeling. He started his kitchen and bathroom remodeling company in The Woodlands TX in 2010 before relocating to Austin TX. Focusing on high end residential kitchen and bathroom remodeling, he quickly built a name for himself among people wanting original design ideas ahead of the curve executed with the highest quality building standards and thoughtful designs. His hands on knowledge of the practical application of products and materials is one thing that really sets VMDB apart from other kitchen and bathroom remodeling companies. As you look through the pictures on this website, you will notice that they design each and every project to have a unique look that fits the styles that their clients are wanting to achieve. Whether you are going for a Modern, Minimalist, Traditional, Victorian, or any transitional style in between – they can convey and incorporate these styles into your remodeling project.

They are also more than happy to execute or elaborate on a clients existing design ideas, for those who already know what they want or have a prepared design.
Construction and Remodeling
Instead of sub-contracting every aspect of home construction (as done by most home builders, kitchen and bathroom remodeling contractors in Austin), we understand the only way to maintain a consistent high level of quality is to have all of the finish trades in house. We constantly check the sub contracted trades (foundations, plumbing, & electrical). This ensures that all aspects of our procedures are done correctly every time. We work together with our crew daily and don’t just supervise.
Foundations
Even when sub-contracting out the concrete work, our team is there checking all of the forms to make sure that everything is plumb, level, square, and constructed as per the plans.
Framing
Since we are all highly skilled carpenters, our framing is done well beyond what you would expect from most framing crews. In addition to crowning our studs we make sure our framing is plumb, level, & square. We use the highest quality of beams, hardware, hand selecting our lumber as much as possible. In our bathroom and kitchen remodeling projects, this is the key part in achieving the cleanest possible finish work. We are also experts at troubleshooting and correcting existing structural issues in your home.
