Vintage Modern Design Build is a home building / remodeling contractor in Austin Tx with an in house team capable of designing, rendering, and constructing your projects from site prep through finish carpentry.  While we specialize in  high end kitchen and bathroom remodeling, we are also building homes of the future.

There are plenty of builders and Architects in Austin Tx that have a broad range of styles.  When it comes to home building and room additions, we like to focus on Mid Century Modern / Eichler inspired and ultra modern architecture although we do take on projects involving other architectural styles that we also enjoy.  We just won First place, best of show, and the designers choice award with the Texas Institute of Building Design for the home pictured in the first set of photos.

This home is being built with ICF wall construction ( Insulated Concrete Form).  It will be a very efficient home.  The windows are going to be thermally broken Marvin windows with additional layers of insulation.  There are two wood burning fireplaces.  We will have the bare essentials of the home on its own separate sub panel that will be on solar power.

Taking the plans from AutoCAD to Revit allows us to build an entire 3 dimensional model of the structure wether it is a new home we are building, a full house remodeling project , or kitchen or bathroom remodeling project allowing our clients an accurate depiction of the finished designs we have in our head.  We can be very detailed with material selections as well as colors and textures, also simulating sun patterns and lighting within the home.
