Carrara Marble bathroom remodel in West Lake HIlls / Austin Tx
This is a Victorian Style Carrara Marble Subway Tile bathroom remodeling project we are in the process of completing in West Lake HIlls / Austin Tx. The homeowners had the idea of using the Carrara Marble subway tiles in the shower. I suggested using the marble pencil edge around the perimeter of the shower to frame it in and give it a more clean finished edge. I also recommended using the 12 x 24 Carrara Marble on the floor of the bathroom. Note how we carry the pattern of the floor on to the shower curb. The shower floor has the Carrara Marble basket weave pattern. We installed and custom modified the vanity cabinets, also installing a beautiful slab of Carrara Marble on the counter top. The Marble is a honed finish as opposed to a polished finish. A very clean and elegant looking bathroom remodel, here in West Lake HIlls / Austin Tx.
