Minimalist Modern Custom Fireplace in Austin Tx
This is a remodeling project in the Spicewood area of Austin Tx. We are remodeling 4 bathrooms and remodeling the kitchen as well. The original fireplace was more of a traditional design.
Considering the fact that we’ve designed the interior of this house in a minimalist / rustic modern style. We thought it would be nice to have this dramatic, monolithic, minimalist modern peninsula fireplace finished in vein cut limestone.
You can see in the pictures below, various stages and steps involved in the overall fabrication of this custom designed fireplace. The end result is this beautiful peninsula style firebox. It can be enjoyed and viewed from the living room as well as the dining room / kitchen areas.
