This Austin Tx home is an on going project on our mid century modern design page on the sub menu for interior design projects.  You can see a before picture below.  We painted walls mustard yellow.   Removed parquet floors and installed charcoal slate.

Removed planter boxes on sides of fireplace and eliminated fireplace hearth to make the space more open and contemporary.  Installed recessed lighting around perimeter of soffit.  The entry wall behind fireplace is done with Durango Travertine 16″x 16″ tiles with micro beveled edges and the grid windows have been replaced with sidelight windows for added privacy.

For furniture we have a mixture of vintage and classic reissues of vintage styles.
