European Transitional Kitchen Remodeling Project Lakeway TX / Austin TX
For this kitchen remodeling project in Lakeway / Austin TX, the owners wanted to remodel the kitchen, lighten up the room, and preserve as much of the existing cabinetry possible.
Eliminating the bulky island and modified the cabinetry under the vent hood to accommodate a slide in range. The new island is cabinetry from RD Henry utilizing a black burnt edge finish. The floors are hand painted cement tiles from CLE Tile. Lowering the bar height in front of the sink area brought it up to date.
The custom made vent hood is a focal point in the kitchen. The open shelves help to balance out the space on the back wall of the kitchen.
Rather than uses the standard subway tile, we opted for the large white pickets.
Using nautical pendant lights in oil rubbed bronze above the island and dining area, added a rustic balance to this amazing kitchen remodeling project in Lakeway / Austin TX
